Present Education Sessions
MATS relies on expert consultants as partners in our ability to provide high quality, indepth education to our members on current and emerging topics that are of critical concern to townships. "This is the most interactive group I've ever presented for! Their desire for knowledge is really impressive," said the opening presenter at the Fall 2009 Education Conference. In addition to presenting nearly 20 conference sessions at the Spring and Fall MATS education conferences, the association maintains a database of consultants who are willing to travel anywhere in the state to present sessions for smaller groups of township officials.  More . . .

Exhibit at Vendor Receptions
"This was by far the most valuable two hours of exhibit time our firm has spent in years!" said more than one exhibitor at the last MATS exhibit reception. The township supervisor is both the chief administrative officer for the township (meaning that they request and review RFPs), and and elected officials who votes on contract approval. MATS exhibit receptions are casual events designed to assist you in building relationships. Supervisors are encouraged to approach the event as a valuable part of the education conference, and to come prepared to ask the exhibitors questions. This is a key opportunity for consultants to prove their knowledge and expertise to the township officials who matter most in the decision making process.
